Venom (Max): The buff that you'll be using most of the time. When it comes to your equipment, its damage is based on your boots and not on your weapon. Dragon Talon uses flurry of kicks to deals high damage with excellent attack rating. Dragon Talon (Max): The main skill that you'll be using to deal damage from beginning until the endgame. This build relies on boots instead of weapons in dealing damage. You can just mindlessly spam Dragon Talon until the enemy dies. The most simple martial arts build for assassin since you don't need to use combo or know how assassin's martial arts mechanics for it to be effective. Monsters that is immune to lightning damage can easily be dealt with by hiring an Act 2 Desert Mercenary and give it a polearm with Infinity Rune Word (Ber, Mal, Ber, Ist). Body armor with Enigma rune word (Jah, Ith, Ber). Energy: Optional since mana potions and equipment can cover for this. Vitality: Majority of points should be placed here. Dexterity: This build is using a shield. 
Strength: Just put enough until requirement for gear is met. Burst of Speed (Remaining skill points): For increasing movement speed. Shadow Master (Max): Can assist you in dealing damage and distracting opponents. Charged Bolt Sentry (Max): Max this skill to give damage synergy to Lightning Sentry. Shock Web (Max): Max this skill to give damage synergy to Lightning Sentry. This sentry shoots lightning as well but not as damaging as Lightning Sentry. Death Sentry (Max): Death Sentry consumes a nearby corpse to execute corpse explosion that deals damage based on the corpse's life before it was killed. Multiple planted Lightning Sentries can cause massive devastation to mobs and bosses.

Either you lure the enemies to move within the trap's range or just directly plant it near them. Trapsin specializes in planting traps, letting it do the damage. In case you're not aware, Assassin can open a locked chest without needing any keys.
